The daughter of a group that included sports enthusiasts, Tafts enthusiasm for sports in the world began from a young age. In school and in college, she was also a player at various levels. But, her dream was to become a sports broadcaster. Taft began her career at Fox Sports North after graduating from Boston University with a degree of broadcast journalism. In addition to covering sports, Taft worked as social media journalists and filling in for many games. After a while being promoted, she became part of the Fox Sports 1, the News and Highlights Team. Taft was a reporter for FS1 and covered many notable title. The reporter reported on these occasions on the ground.
